At Flexitions, we know that timing is everything — especially when it comes to projects that matter to a community.
In January, Sam Dyer from Floor Covering International (FCI) in Downers Grove, IL. reached out after seeing our work on previous church installations. He needed a solution that could handle the space — but also something that would install efficiently if timelines got tight.
After reviewing samples in February, the decision was clear: Flexitions Top Mount Bull Nose was the right fit.
The Challenge
The order for 150 linear feet of our #1128 Top Mount Bull Nose was placed on March 18th.
Our standard lead time for unfinished material is 1–2 weeks — but the timeline quickly tightened. The church wanted everything completed in time for Palm Sunday, leaving very little room for delays, rework, or complicated installation methods.
Why Top Mount Made the Difference
With tight deadlines, installation matters just as much as the product itself.

The Result
We moved quickly — manufacturing the profiles in just one week and shipping them Next Day Air.
Sam received the material Friday, stained it using our Finish Guide, and completed the installation on Saturday.
While the staining took a bit to dial in, Sam shared that the installation itself was
“the easiest part of the entire project.”
And most importantly — the church was able to open its doors for Palm Sunday with everything completed and looking exactly as planned.
